Welcome to Jams by Jam!
Jams by Jam began with something simple: an overload of habanero peppers growing in my backyard.
Back before 2020, I grew habanero peppers at home, and I ended up with more peppers than I knew what to do with. Instead of letting them go to waste, I came up with an idea — why not make habanero jelly?
So that’s exactly what I did.
My first homemade batch turned out delicious, with the perfect combination of sweetness and a good kick of heat. I loved making it, but eventually life got busy, and I stopped.
Years later, my husband started dropping hints that he really wanted me to make my habanero jelly again. 😂❤️ His hints got me thinking, and instead of making the same jelly, I decided to experiment with something new.
That’s when I came up with Mango Habanero Jam.
The combination of sweet, tropical mango and spicy habanero was absolutely delicious. I shared some with friends and family, and their reaction was amazing. They loved it and encouraged me to keep making it.
That’s when I realized this could become something more than just a homemade recipe.
That’s how Jams by Jam was born.
Being Puerto Rican is also a big part of my inspiration. Growing up with the flavors, fruits, colors, and tropical spirit of Puerto Rico has always stayed with me. I wanted to bring some of that feeling into my jams and share a little taste of the tropics with others.
Today, I enjoy creating unique flavors that range from sweet and fruity to bold and spicy. I love experimenting with different fruits and peppers to create combinations you may not find on a typical grocery-store shelf.
Every jar is made in small batches with care, creativity, and a whole lot of love.
My goal isn’t just to sell you a jar of jam. I want you to taste the story behind it.
From that backyard full of habanero peppers to the jars I now share with customers, Jams by Jam has grown from a simple idea into something I’m truly proud of.
